Intermediate Watercolor Workshop

This intermediate class focuses on reviewing  basic watercolor brush techniques. We will cover Flat wash, gradient wash, Wet on Wet , Dry brush, glazing, wax resist, stamping, rubbing alcohol, Also covered in this course is the characteristics of watercolor transparent paint, color mixing, basic brushstrokes, painting techniques and differences in watercolor paper. Students will also learn about the artist Georgia O'keeffe and her abstract flowers. Students will create a finished landscape painting capturing beautiful fall colors. ​
