The Huntington Historical Society has been the focal point for preserving the ongoing heritage of the Town of Huntington, New York for over 120 years by facilitating educational programs, maintaining museums and historically interpreted spaces, and housing an extensive archive, collection, and regional research center.

1 PM - 3 PM with Kaitlin Mayo Conklin Barn 2 High Street, Huntington Calling all families! Join us on February 22nd for our first family workshop of 2026! After a brief tour of the colonial wing of the Conklin Farmhouse, families will gather in the Conklin Barn to learn the importance of candle dipping and tin smithing. Families will then work together to create their own tin lantern to take home! Light snacks will be provided.
