THE HUNTINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS PROUD TO PRESENTTWO ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS
In-School or On-Site Programs
For Grades 4-12

Come see a professional Revolutionary War Re-enactor, as he presents one of two different historical programs: a common foot soldier in General Washington’s Continental Army and a *Revolutionary War Field Doctor.

Students will be actively involved in each of these one-hour, lecture-demonstrations and gain a better understanding of this period of American history through listening, observing, and handling objects of this time period.  Provided there is enough physical room, children will go through the steps of an authentic Revolutionary War musket drill.

PROGRAM OFFERED:
Monday through Friday
September through June
10:00am - 2:00 pm

FEE:  $200 per class, minimum of two presentations per visit.

*This program is quite graphic and not appropriate for the very young or squeamish.  Can also be combined with a tour of the Dr. Kissam House for $7.00/child (May - September).
