History To Go
In-School Programs
For Grades 1-5

During this 75-minute program, a costumed, museum educator will set up hands-on exploration stations in your school, complete with historical artifacts for your students to touch and discuss.  A slide presentation, which focuses on colonial Long Island life, plus an explanation of flax (linen) preparation, is also included.  In addition, students will learn to write with quill pens.

 PROGRAM OFFERED:
Monday through Friday
September through June
10:00am - 2:00 pm

 FEE:  $200 per class, minimum of three presentations per visit.  All purpose room for presentation to be supplied by school. 
 LIMIT: 30/CLASS
