A tour of local historic houses during the Holidays

Each year in December the Huntington Historical Society arranges tours of local residences that date from Colonial times.  The owners of these houses, open their homes as a service to the community and the Society, to demonstrate life styles throughout our country's history.  See our calendar for this year's schedule.  You can also see the houses and obtain information on this year's tour by visiting our House Tour 2008 page

Each year the tour is unique, with a different theme.  The 2006 tour included our own Conklin Farmhouse and other houses in the community owned by Conklin family members and friends of the Conklins.  There were six houses on the tour including the Historical Society's 1750 David Conklin House.  You can view scenes from the 2006 House Tour by visiting that page.  The 2007 House Tour Theme was "Five Centuries of Huntington Homes" with houses from the 17th through the 21st centuries.
