Sheep to Shawl Festival |

Apple Festival |
| Each year the Society provides two festivals meant to
celebrate the changing of the seasons. The
Sheep to Shawl Festival
is held in the spring and demonstrates our heritage activities leading
into the summer months: sheep shearing, spinning, weaving as well
as providing games, music, refreshments and children's stories.
The Apple Festival is held
in the fall and celebrates preparations for winter: Scarecrow
making, pumpkin painting and apple products as well as music,
dancing, games, crafts and, for those who dare, a
scary Boo Barn. |
