The Huntington Historical Society's collections preserve Huntington's past

Throughout the last 100 years, the Society has been the leader in collecting artifacts which preserve the heritage of our community.  These artifacts are retained, and made available to the public, in the two house museum maintained by the Society.

Highlights of our extensive museum collections include:

  • Costumes:  Thousands of items of clothing, dating back to the 16th century

  • Furnishings:  Chairs, tables, beds, pianos, representing the town's phases

  • Ceramics:  Stoneware from the town's many foundries

  • Clocks

  • Textiles

  • Tools

  • Fine arts

  • Dolls
