and Learn Lecture" "Huntington's Winter Carnival, 1907 - 1920" Please join us at one of Huntington's newest and most popular dining destinations, the speakeasy-themed restaurant, Huntington Social, and enjoy a special menu exclusive to our programs and designed by renowned Chef Christopher Lee. Huntington Social is located on the corner of New York Avenue and Main Street in Huntington, above Cactus Salon, 1:00 thru 3:00 pm. The first lecture will be given by Toby Kissam about Huntington's major winter sporting event in the early 1900's. See pictures of the race and get a glimpse of Main early Main Street. Watercolor Painting – Monday, February 20
This workshop will teach traditional English watercolor and ink drawing. After completing this class, attendees will have the skills to transfer a drawing to paper, use a dip-type pen with bottle ink, and apply watercolors in layers with precision. 10am – 12 Noon Conklin Barn, 2 High Street, Huntington $22 per attendee (individual adults and children in 4th grade and older)

Bring your favorite DOLL & TEA CUP. Share stories about YOUR doll. Do simple embroidery. Make yarn dolls. Make a toy. Holiday Historic House tour, We invite you to celebrate the holiday season by joining us for this exceptional tour between noon and 4:00 pm. Each year in December the Huntington Historical Society arranges tours of local residences that date from Colonial times through the current century. The owners of these houses, open their homes as a service to the community and the Society, to demonstrate life styles throughout our country's history. Each house is chosen for its distinct design and historical details and refreshments are served, as part of the tour, at one of the Society's museums. A tour of the museum is included. |
