Apple Festival Video |
It was a wonderful day. The weather was just what a fall day should be,
cool and clear. More that 2000 Long Islanders came to enjoy the Festival. The
children played traditional games, tried old-time crafts and enjoyed the tunes
of traditional music. Hundreds of adults and children went through the
Chamber of Darkness, and many more could not bring themselves to enter.
Of course the highlight of the day for most of the people was the scarecrow
making. Children and adults alike created their ideal scarecrows.
