Learning about life long ago when school lets out

Our fascinating and fun after school activities take place at the c.1750 David Conklin Farmhouse Museum.  During this interactive program, children learn about domestic lifestyle, social customs, and overall everyday life for families and children long ago.

As they are surrounded by authentic objects and furnishings, children step back in time and imagine what life was like for David and Sybil Conklin and their family on their Colonial farm.  Everyone is encouraged to imagine what their lives would have been like had they lived then!  This program is appropriate for scouts as well as other children’s groups, and can be tailored for many age groups.
