On
the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Huntington Historical Society
(1903-2003) in 2003, the Society sponsored a gala affair at Oheka Castle.
The success affair reflects the pride we have in our
accomplishments, and the large attendance shows the broad acceptance and
appreciation of the Society in our community.
We believe the successful gala validates the
prophetic vision for the Society, expressed by our Founding Mothers, "to
perpetuate an interest in historic matters, especially those pertaining to our
town".
